Phasing out of cheque as payment method

On 28 July 2023, the Monetary Authority of Singapore announced that all corporate cheque will be phasing out by end-2025.

Recently cheque payments have been observed to be decreasing.  In 2022, cheque transactions volume has declined almost 70%, increasing average fee for cheque clearance.  The Board of All Saints Memorial Chapel (Singapore) Ltd has carefully considered and decided to phase out cheque transactions.  With effect from 1 December 2024, we will no longer accepts cheque as one of our payment and donation methods.

All payments will be made in cash, PAYNOW, interbank transfer or by scanning our SGQR label.  As for donations, donors can donate by scanning our SGQR label placed at our respective columbarium halls.

Singapore and Singaporeans are moving towards the vision of Smart Nation.  We shall do our part and gradually shift over.  Please speak to our staff for assistance and clarification.

公告：《 逐步淘汰支票作为支付方式》

根据新加坡金融管理局于2023年7月28日的公告，所有企业支票将在2025年底前被淘汰。

近年来，支票支付的使用量逐渐减少。截至2022年，支票交易量已经下降了近70%，导致支票清算的平均费用上升。新加坡众圣纪念堂董事会经过慎重考虑，决定逐步淘汰支票交易。从2024年12月1日起，我们将不再接受支票作为支付和捐赠的方式。

所有付款将采用现金、PAYNOW、银行间转账或扫描我们的SGQR二维码标签进行。至于捐赠，捐赠者可以通过扫描我们各自骨灰堂内的SGQR标签来进行捐赠。
